Zbridge W2W system opening new operating windows at Race bank windfarm.


IJmuiden 3-10-2017: Zbridge BV announced today that the Zbridge W2W system has been contracted by Østensjø Rederi onboard of the of the Construction Support Vessel Sun Enabler. The Zbridge system was mobilized mid-august in IJmuiden and is currently working successfully at the Race bank windfarm of DONG Energy.

The Zbridge W2W System is developed by Ztechnologies together with a hydraulic and controls Technology partner. The Zbridge is a Bureau Veritas certified W2W system. The patented system compensates the movement of the vessel for pitch, roll and heave. The Zbridge W2W system provides direct access with an elevator for personnel and cargo to the +18 meter level of the offshore structure. This improves safety, comfort and allows continuous access for personnel and cargo up to 500kg without undocking the system.

In order to further develop the Zbridge operation, Ztechnologies has established Zbridge BV. Zbridge BV will focus on: maintaining safe an efficient operations, marketing of the Zbridge W2W systems and further develop the Zbridge concept. Currently the planning phase for the Zbridge new build program has commenced. The Zbridge W2W system is offered as fully operational rental package or can be procured with a service level agreement. Zbridge BV will be present at the Offshore Energy Exhibition on 10 & 11 October in Amsterdam at stand 1.008-10.
