WIND NOW starts with full service contract for three wind farms in Sweden


The full service provider WIND NOW starts anew in the market with a 5-year-full-maintenance-contract for three wind farms of one of Sweden’s largest project developers, Arise AB. WIND NOW is thereby positioning itself as an independent service provider in Germany as well as the Scandinavian region at the time of the company’s foundation.

Berlin, March 1st, 2021 – The agreement with Arise has been ongoing since 1st January 2021. Under the terms of the agreement, WIND NOW assumes full responsibility for all components and guarantees decreasing operating costs as well as continued high availability. WIND NOW has installed its own service base for Arise at its headquarters in Halmstad, from where the three wind farms in Brunsmo, Kaphult, and Fröslida, with 21 GE turbines (all 2.5 and 2.75 MW) are serviced around the clock.

With the use of a state-of-the-art 24/7 control room from Green Wind Group, WIND NOW ensures operational planning and spare parts procurement. “Together with an extended lifetime and the planned refinancing, this service contract is an important puzzle piece for achieving long-term profitability in our wind farms,” says Daniel Johansson, CEO of Arise, who is counting on a long-term cooperation with the German service provider. “We are pleased, that Arise relies on our comprehensive service competence and that we are trusted in Sweden. With dedicated teams on site and at the technical control systems, we will fully meet the expectations placed on us,” underlines Manuel Lasse,Managing Director at WIND NOW.
