We have seen trackers run over by trucks that still work!

A company that specialises in developing tracking sensors for heavy industry and rough environments, Trusted A/S is making waves in the wind industry. Why? A variety or reasons – not least the sheer durability that is perfectly suited to the extreme climate demands of our sector. We spoke to the company’s Rasmus Nørgaard Andersen.

PES: Welcome to PES. Would you like to introduce the company and tell us a little about how you serve the wind industry?
Rasmus Nørgaard Andersen:
Trusted A/S is a Danish company that produces GPS trackers for the security industry and other business sectors for the optimisation of their assets within the supply chain.
Trusted started working for customers in the wind industry around three and a half years ago. We believe that we provide a perfect match for the wind industry due to the global distribution of assets, coupled with the high complexity and high-value of those assets.
PES: Have you noticed an increased appetite for analysis and reporting in recent years? Why do you think this is?
RA:
We have seen an increased appetite for an efficient asset management. And this asset management objective can be broken down in to three main objectives, which are:
• Data collection for the documentation
of all technical transport specifications such as G-shock and temperature
and/or humidity.
• A better overview of the logistics with
a special focus on a fast return of transportation asset
• General cost optimization
