TWMA secures contract with Neptune Energy

Specialist drilling waste management company, TWMA, has secured a seven-figure contract with leading independent exploration and production company, Neptune Energy.

The three-year contract, which comes with the option of a two-year extension, will include skip and ship and solids control to manage and process drill cuttings. The scope of work will also include the provision of cuttings containment, pit and tank cleaning and offshore processing using TWMA’s innovative TCC RotoMill® technology.

The TCC RotoMill® unit will allow drilling waste to be processed safely and effectively on site offshore, significantly reducing the logistics costs associated with skip and ship. The technology enables high ROP drilling rates in even the harshest offshore environments and reduces lifting operations by up to 95%.

TWMA will also use transfer and containment solutions to transport drilling waste generated at source to its specialist onshore thermal processing facility in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.

Gareth Innes, chief commercial officer of TWMA, commented: “We are extremely pleased to partner with Neptune Energy and further expand our presence in the North Sea. This contract underpins our strong capabilities and strengthens the foundations for our continued growth both in the UK and overseas.
