Tentec Proud to Achieve Vendor Approval from Acciona


Tentec, a leading supplier of bolt tightening solutions for the wind turbine industry is pleased to announce that it has received vendor approval for its range of bolt tensioning equipment from Acciona, the world leader in renewable energy. This homologation means that Acciona companies throughout the world can purchase Tentec’s innovative Aero range of bolt tensioning tools for installation and maintenance of wind turbines.

“We are delighted to have received vendor approval from such a well-known and prestigious company.” says Mike Gethings, Managing Director at Tentec. “Since the launch of the Aero range in 2008, we have worked with closely with Acciona’s engineering department and their onsite engineers to ensure that the tools are in line with their stringent requirements. All this hard work has now been officially recognised and we are looking forward to consolidating our relationship and supplying Acciona companies throughout the world.”

The Aero range comprises bolt tensioning tools suitable for a complete wind turbine bolting installation or maintenance programme. By listening to customer requirements these feature rich, powerful bolt tensioning tools are packed full of operator requested features including quick release swivel fittings, automatic piston reset and intuitive operation. The products are manufactured from aircraft quality high-strength tensile steel and are compact and lightweight for ease of handling.
