SGS Announces a new Business Development Manager for Renewable Energy Services in Scandinavia


On September 1, 2010, SGS announced Michael Ruiberriz as the new Business Development Manager for Renewable Energy Services in Scandinavia. Michael will focus on creating competitive strategic plans for the growth of Renewable Energy Services revenue within SGS Industrial Services and identifying and securing new contracts and projects. In addition, he will be responsible for flawless project execution and leadership as well as cultivating and forging client relationships. Michael will also be in charge of leveraging and capitalizing SGS’s cutting-edge global technical certification capabilities to address unmet market needs.

Having graduated from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration with a diploma in the Program for Leadership Development, Michael made a start in the wind energy industry within the Siemens Professional Development Program in 2006. After a thorough introduction to wind power services, Michael began executing various onshore and offshore projects as installation manager worldwide. In 2009, Michael joined FORCE Technology for business development within corporate cross sales, as sales manager in the renewable energy sector.

Michael has now joined SGS Scandinavia as the new Business Development Manager for Renewable Energy Services. In his new role, he will be in charge of the development of Renewable Energy Services in the region.
