Marine Jet Power strengthens service capabilities with the opening of new APAC Headquarters in Australia


UPPSALA, Sweden (Mar, 1. 2019) – Marine Jet Power (MJP) is pleased to announce the establishment of a new sales office for Asia Pacific (APAC), headquartered in Perth Henderson, Western Australia.
 
In a celebration last week, company CEO Magnus Sörenson, CFO Erling Tomasson and EVP of Sales and Marketing Damian O’Toole, attended the opening of MJP’s new office, located in the Australian Marine Complex overlooking Jervis Bay. Co-located with IKAD Engineering, the new MJP APAC headquarters is ideally situated in the Henderson Industrial area of Perth Western Australia, offering close proximity to a number of shipyards and fleet operators in the area.
 
“Our commitment to the region is firm,” said MJP CEO, Magnus Sörenson. “Opening an office in Western Australia in addition to our existing office in South Korea will further strengthen our service capabilities in the fast-growing APAC market.”
 
The new office, led by Regional Director Paul Hague, will offer customers in-region support, from parts fulfilment to a local phone service for builders and operators in Australia and Southeast Asia.  
 
“We are extremely pleased for the opportunity to be working with IKAD Engineering, their dedicated marine repair facility is well suited for the needs of MJP as we continue to grow in the APAC region,” said Paul Hague, MJP Regional Director of APAC. “This strategic location will allow us to better service and support customers in the region by providing a more hands-on, accessible and localized approach.”
 
The new headquarters is due to be fully operational by March 1, located at 31 Stuart Drive, Henderson WA 6166 Australia.
