supported by their local partner, Grupo SI

SEVILLE (Spain), October 18th, 2018.- Isotrol, experts in monitoring and controlling systems for renewable power plants, and Genneia, one of the top Argentinian renewable energy companies, signed an agreement whereby the Spanish company will integrate all Genneia’s assets into their control centre.

Isotrol will implement Bluence, their platform of solutions to managing large amounts of data in renewable power plants, into Genneia’s power stations in order to enhance their productivity and profitability. To develop the project, Isotrol relies on their partners in Argentina, the IT professionals Grupo SI.

Genneia is a leading company in sustainable energy supply solutions and principal investor in renewable energy projects in Argentina. Genneia owns and operates: ten thermal power generation plants (640 MW), Rawson and Trelew wind farms (101 MW/51 MW), plus ten wind farm projects currently in progress along with a biomass plant under construction. All these assets will produce 1.4 GW power when operating.

The confidence of such a client not only proves Bluence’s technological capability, but also shows how the international operations of Isotrol are evolving. In fact, of the 25 GW of power that the company monitors around the world, 3.2 GW are located in South America.

Isotrol and Grupo SI technical teams have already started Genneia’s assets integration into the new control centre, created to assist in the managing and utilizing of all Genneia’s plants and involved technologies, from which large amounts of data will be managed, including financial information. This project is structured in three phases and offers new possibilities in the region.
