GES Starts construction for Engie in Mexico


  • The wind farm is located nearby Victoria City (Tamaulipas State)

  • The project includes 15 wind turbines of 3,45 MW

May 2017. GES will construct a new 52MW wind farm in Tamaulipas State (Mexico). The contract includes the complete Balance of Plant of the project: civil works, medium voltage line, substation, high voltage line and two new positions at the interconnection substation.

The project is the third phase of the Tres Mesas wind farm, that was awarded to ENGIE in the second auction, back in September 2016. GES will be in charge of the detailed engineering of the project and the construction. GES has an in-house engineering team, which enables the company to walk together withits customer from the very beginning of the project, in the first stages, when it is still under development, optimizing cost and resources as much as possible.
