Business Network for Offshore Wind Grows Membership to Historic High


Baltimore, MD—The Business Network for Offshore Wind (The Network) announces that a surge of new members have joined—more than 94 so far this year. This has boosted the Network’s membership total to 302, topping the 300 mark for the first time. This diverse group of new members ranges from large international companies to small businesses and includes both offshore wind veterans and new entrants into the industry. They offer a range of services including engineering, consulting, training, law, transportation, logistics, shipping, siting, construction, communications, manufacturing, fabrication, cabling and more, and include government agencies, non-profit associations and electric utilities as well.

Liz Burdock, President and CEO of the Network, said “I’m thrilled to welcome so many new businesses to the Network. This is a great time for businesses to get involved in offshore wind because the market is exploding and the industry is poised for exponential growth in the coming years. These new members have a tremendous amount of passion and expertise to contribute, and their participation will help shape the industry for years to come.”
