Would you like to foresee the future? Look in the rear-view mirror!

In which phase of development is a particular technology or a particular area of technology? This is a key question for companies which develop and market technology-based services and products. The Swedish Patent and Registration Office (PRV) has now made it possible to forecast the future. PRV is the first on the market to offer this type of business intelligence tool which is based on patent information.

Technological development in a particular field of technology is simulated in the new service Foreseeker. A Foreseeker analysis is based on patent data and its results respond to a number of strategic questions. It also includes the use of advanced mathematical methods to simulate a forecast of future development. The results is an important basis for strategic decisions that can save significant amounts of money since the results can help companies to increase the reliability of the assessments of when and where technologies should be developed or phased out.

Foreseeker creates new opportunities
