ON-Track Technology, the flexible, hi-mix technology specialist, has upgraded their SMT capability by incorporating Rehm Thermal Systems VXS422 convection reflow solution. The Australian company needed a more capable reflow than they had previously with their SMT lines. The reason for this was to make sure their reflow system was as repeatable and stable as possible, especially from leaded to lead-free production.
Rehm’s Solution for On-Track Technology
Rehm’s VXS422 was chosen to give ON-Track Technology the thermal control they required. The VXS422 has 6 x heated zones top and bottom with heated tunnel length of 2100mm. VXS systems offer industry leading temperature separation, particularly between the last preheat and first peak zone. This enables excellent spike to peak temperature control, as well as allowing for maintaining the lowest delta T across the PCB.
