- PEG system significantly reduces costs and installation time
- Jurchen Technology presents innovative substructure at the Solar Power International
trade fair in Salt Lake City
Kitzingen, Germany – Jurchen Technology has had its innovative PEG system certified according to the US UL-2703 standard. The certification was carried out by Intertek US.
“This certification enables us to enter into the US market. The extremely efficient area utilization of up to 1.7 megawatts per hectare (0.71 megawatts per acre) makes our system particularly interesting for the US market, as space close to network connection points in the USA is not only rare but also very expensive”, says Michael Jurchen, CEO of Jurchen Technology GmbH.
Since its introduction at the Intersolar Europe trade fair in 2018, Jurchen Technology has delivered this revolutionary system to a number of locations in Germany and the Netherlands, as well as Israel, Africa and Australia. The substructure is particularly popular in Australia, where it is currently being utilized to provide the countries first series of unsubsidized utility scale solar projects. By the end of 2019, around 50 solar plants based on the innovative PEG substructure will have been built.
