Vendres (France) – BELECTRIC has successfully sold two of its French solar projects to a Joint Venture of JP Énergie Environnement (51 %) and Caisse des Dépôts (49 %). BELECTRIC France has developed the solar plants with a combined size of around 15MWp. In March 2017 the projects were awarded a feed-in remuneration by the French government (bidding round „AO CRE4“). At the beginning of this year BELECTRIC will start as EPC (Engineering-Procurement-Construction) contractor the construction works on behalf of the new owners. Commissioning is anticipated in Mid-2018.

“JPee is extremely proud of this agreement, we enjoyed a highly fruitful collaboration with a serious partner like BELECTRIC. The cooperation worked out really well. Our installed solar PV capacity is now around 72MWp. With these power plants, we will supply around 4,000 additional homes, totalling about 20,000 homes, or 65,000 people, for our entire solar portfolio”, notes Xavier Nass, Directeur Général at JPee.

“We are very pleased with the signing of this agreement, which constitutes a first achievement for Caisse des Dépôts with BELECTRIC, a worldwide reference in the PV sector”, explains Emmanuel Legrand, Director of the Energy Transition Department at Caisse des Dépôts. “Those two PV projects strengthen our existing partnership with JPee, aiming at supporting the development of JPee as an independent power producer”.
