Gantner Environment provides monitoring for largest solar project in Central Asia


Multiple times being selected as supplier of complete monitoring solutions for new large solar power plants in e.g. Egypt, Denmark, Thailand and the Netherlands, Gantner has in the past 12 month repeatedly confirmed its position as a leading global player in utility scale PV industry.

After participating in two 50MW projects in Kazakhstan before, Gantner will provide now its complete monitoring solution to the biggest solar farm in Central Asia, „Saran“, expanding its exposure in the country by another 100MW. For „Saran“ Gantner delivers Q.reader as data logger and Power plant controller, DC Combiner boxes, Meteo stations and Gantner.webportal as SCADA system.

Gantners monitoring and control solution “Made in Germany” is an optimised, individually tailored system and – as result of high quality engineering – based on newest technology.

The chosen components fulfil Gantners already in 1982 established approach to deliver reliable industry-leading solutions. All components have been carefully selected to comply with the extreme climate in the area. One challenge is the anticipated large ambient temperature range from -40 to 50°C as well as harsh winters with snow storms and ice.
