CRONIMET Mining Power Solutions finalized another photovoltaic project in Windhoek, Namibia.

The 1130 kWp rooftop photovoltaic system at Wernhil Park shopping center in Windhoek, Namibia, entered commercial operation in the first week of October. CRONIMET Mining Power Solutions managed to complete the project within eight weeks and thus four weeks before the scheduled handover date.

The plant in the heart of the Namibian capital will from now on provide clean energy to the shopping center, reduce energy costs and further enables the mall to avoid 2144 tons of CO2 per year. For the photovoltaic plant the latest 400Wp PERC module technology is utilized to ensure an efficient operation.

For the installation of the panels CRONIMET Mining Power Solutions employed local labor in order to contribute to social and economic improvements in the country.
