aleo solar AG supplies modules for 3 MW rooftop plant in Italy

aleo solar AG has supplied more than 13,000 S_18 type modules for a 3 megawatt rooftop plant in Cuneo, Italy. The premium solar module manufacturer received the order from the companies Eurostock and Verde Energia, both of which are part of the Lannutti Group. The Lannutti Group ranks among the largest logistics corporations in Italy.
The photovoltaic plant was connected to the grid on 25 November 2010. The aleo modules have been installed on the roof of the company building. The plant was installed by the Cuneo-based firm Giordano & C. S.p.a. An annual yield of 4,000,000 kilowatt hours is anticipated. That is equivalent to the annual consumption of more than 1,100 three-person households. This makes it possible to prevent over 2,336 tons of harmful CO2 emissions each year from being produced.
Roberto Mandruzzato, Managing Director of Verde Energia s.r.l., emphasises, “We have decided to invest in a manner which is sustainable, secure and environmentally friendly. aleo solar’s modules are designed to have a particularly long service life and are optimised to maximise yields.” Giovanni Buogo, Sales Manager Europe of aleo solar AG, adds, “How much electricity a solar plant can produce depends not only on the roof and the investment options, but on the quality of the modules and their proper installation as well.”
