WindEnergy Hamburg 2016 – programme for expert exchange, networking and discussion at international level


The global wind energy markets are characterised by dynamic development. Innovation is moving fast, driven by both economic and political factors. WindEnergy Hamburg, to be held in Hamburg from 27 to 30 September, will be the meeting point for decision makers in the energy industry throughout the world. The world´s leading expo for wind energy gives a wide range of networking opportunities, making it the ideal platform for international expert exchanges at the highest level in the onshore and offshore wind industry. Trade visitors will find programme items such as Speakers’ Corner and Recruiting Day Forum, with some 100 short presentations where companies showcase their innovations at the fair and their products and services. The programme is complemented by other items such as the Storage Tour and WindEnergy Match, with more than 1,200 exhibitors in 9 exhibition halls. The WindEurope Summit will be held in parallel with WindEnergy Hamburg for the first time, with an extensive conference programme.

Storage Tourfor power storage solutions

Smart storage capabilities are essential for integration of the growing proportion of wind energy in power supply. WindEnergy Hamburg will present a range of storage solutions and systems for grid integration, spread over the nine exhibition halls. A condensed overview is also given in the Storage Tour, with participation of about 90 exhibitors. International networking with WindEnergy Match

WindEnergy Hamburg is the networking hub for decision makers in the wind industry. It includes WindEnergy Match, the international cooperation forum, which has already received registrations from 24 nations including Germany, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Turkey and the USA, Brazil, Japan and India. The MatchingTool of the Enterprise Europe Network enables interested exhibitors and visitors to find exactly the right potential business partners for international contacts in the fields of industry and science. The meetings are scheduled for Thursday 29 and Friday 30 September 2016. All exhibitors and trade visitors at WindEnergy Hamburg can make use of this service free of charge, and register at www.windenergymatch.de. The deadline for registrations is 15 September 2016.
