GES added 112 MW wind construction in Chile

GES finished the construction of two wind farms in Chile and is working on a third at the moment

February 2017. Global Energy Services (GES) finished two wind farms adding 112 MW to the company track record in Chile. The Project scope included the civil works, the medium voltage grid and turbine installation.

These two new wind farms are the recognition to an extraordinary trajectory in the country. GES started its activity in Chile in 2012, when the Spanish company first constructed a wind farm in the Andean country. Since then GES has an accumulated track record of 450 MW in the wind activity, which means almost a third of the total capacity installed in Chile.

GES face the near future with good perspectives in the South American region, where the company is already negotiating new projects in Chile and Argentina, after the emergence of this market in the last year.
