Eolica Expo Mediterranean 2009
The seventh edition of Eolica Expo Mediterranean 2009, the wind power exhibition for the Italian and Mediterranean markets which will take place at Rome Exhibition Centre from 30th September to 2nd October 2009, is doubling its exhibition space compared to 2008, in a year of crisis. Eolica Expo Mediterranean 2009 confirms itself as the leading appointment for both international companies and professionals that are investing in the exponential growing Italian and Mediterranean markets.
After the success of 2008, with 150 companies exhibiting and over 18.000 attendees, four months before the exhibition starts, more than 100 companies have already registered at the show, including the most important wind turbine manufacturers: Avantis Energy, Enercon, Fuhrländer, Gamesa, GE Energy, Leitwind, Nordex, PowerWind, Repower, Siemens, Suzlon e Vestas.
More than 1.000 MW were installed in Italy in 2008 (+35% compared with 2007), taking the third place among the European countries for capacity installed, considering both the year and the total capacity. Actually, the total capacity installed in our country at the end of 2008 was about 4.000 MW, compared to a total potential of 17.000 MW, so 4 times more of what we have at the moment, excluding the protected areas.
The two halls (16.000 square meters in total) will also host a qualified presence of small wind turbine manufactures, which benefit from a new tax incentive (0,30 € for Kw produced) and a wide range of suppliers and service companies, related to the wind sector.
Do not miss the chance to exhibit so that you can meet the most qualified operators of the sector coming from all the Mediterranean and Northern Africa areas.
