Prenzlau, 13th of September 2016 - After nine months of construction and renovation phase, the subsidiary of aleo solar GmbH now starts the production of highly efficient PERC solar cells CELCO technology. In the current year the production of about 30 MW poly- and monocrystalline solar cells is planned in fully continuous series production. The current annual production capacity of the two production lines is 100 MW, but is expandable to four production lines and 200 MW. aleo Sunrise GmbH was founded last year as a 100 percent subsidiary of the module manufacturer aleo solar GmbH. On Monday, the 12th of September 2016, the production lines of aleo Sunrise were officially inaugurated. Voltalia (Euronext Paris, ISIN code: FR0011995588), international renewable energy player, announces it has been selected by the municipalities of Chamonix-Mont Blanc and les Houches for the construction and operation of a 4.5 MW run of the river hydropower plant, on the Taconnaz torrent. The electricity sales contract of the won project runs over a 20-year period. The Taconnaz hydropower project follows the call for proposals launched on August 12, 2015 by the Chamonix-Mont Blanc and Les Houches municipalities. It is part of the Haute-Savoie Territorial Energy Climate Plan1 , which has set a 20% target of renewable energy in the region’s final energy consumption in 2020. The plant is expected to cover the annual electrical consumption of about 4,800 households2 , close to 90% of both communes’ population. The hydropower plant should be commissioned in 2019, and the secured energy sales contract secured runs over a 20-year period. The company showcased its highly efficient, newly designed central inverter - SG2500 (2.5MW container solution) and two string inverters, the 1100V-SG60KTL (60KW) and the SG80KTL (80KW with big DC clamp) at their booth #3 137. Sungrow’s central inverter SG2500 is best characterized by its cost effectiveness and highly reliable containerized design. The inverter’s 10-foot standardized shipping container design, enables the SG2500 to be easily deployed, saving installation time and cost. With the three-level topology design, maximum efficiency can reach up to 99%, being the highest in class. Hamburg/Paris: Senvion, a leading global manufacturer of wind turbines, has reached two gigawatts installed capacity in France. Senvion crosses this milestone, with the installation of 26 Senvion MM82 turbines at the Sambres wind farm, owned by RES, located in the Occitanie region . The wind farm has a total rated output of 53 megawatts (MW) and supplies enough annual energy to supply over 17,600 three-person households with electricity. The company is also set to achieve another record this autumn with the installation of the largest rotor in France with five 3.0M122 machines at 89 metre hub height at the Eoliennes de Quatre Chemins wind farm in Coupéville in La Marne in the Grand Est region. The large rotor diameter is adapted to low wind speed sites, making this an ideal turbine for the site. The contract was signed in the first half of 2016 with customers Noria and Quadran. India’s only tier 1 module manufacturer plans investments of over INR 400 crore Munich/Germany, 7 September 2016: Vikram Solar has partnered with teamtechnik, a market leader in production technology based in Freiberg am Neckar (Germany), to design production lines and supply plant technology to support the company’s expansion plans. Today, both companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the collaboration in the presence of Hon’ble Finance Minister, West Bengal, Shri Amit Mitra. Vikram Solar is set to expand its module production from current 500 MW to 2 GW by 2019. The company plans to invest more than INR 400 crore in the project, creating around 3,000 additional jobs.
